How long is yor power wire? Assuming the typical 12-15 ft...

I use 60A for 8 ga and no more than 120A for 4 ga. If I were you I'd go with an 80A

Last I knew 80A agu's were pretty hard to find. I got mine a while back frome here www.affsave.com I couldn't find them posted on the site but you might try e-mailing.

www.knukonceptz.com yuh n2 is right it goes by the wire..as the fuse protects the wire not the equipment (remember that) you dont EVER want to exceed what the components need though ..say you have 2 amps one has 30 amp fuse the other a 80... you dont run a 200 amp fuse under the hood(even if you were running 0 guage wire) you would run maximum of 110 amp.... but is also dependent on wire guage and length

i would seriously look into getting a circut breaker...alot cheaper than an amp in the long run if it ever blows...and i think they are only a few dollars anyways.....good luck

Running 4awg from the battery to the cap and on the amp with a 60amp fuse in a 2001 Grand AM I cant see why you would need anything larger, unless you are running more than one amp then its trial and error..Only go as big as you have to..
