RF T1500-1BDCP or Kicker ZX 1500.1

Based off of experience and with having first hand knowledge which amp is better the RF T1500-1BDCP or Kicker ZX1500.1? They both put out over rated power at 2 ohms.

Re: RF T1500-1BDCP or Kicker ZX 1500.1

I've owned a ZX750.1 and it was a great amp. Right now I'm running this: Rockford Fosgate T1000-1bdCP (t10001bdcp) (2010 Model) 1000W RMS However if I was going to go between these 2 I'd pick the RF. It's just a better amp and it's 1 ohm stable as to where the Kicker is 2 ohm. And the Kicker is underrated but not like the RF. The T1500 probably does around 1900 @ 1 ohm I'm guessing. I believe the RF is probably more efficient as well.

t1500, its engineered and built better and it will put out more power, they do around 1900rms at 1 and 2 ohms

I did a comparison in my car between the two amps with the gains set the same and no filtering and the RF came out ahead at least to my ears but not by much.

Re: RF T1500-1BDCP or Kicker ZX 1500.1

The bdcp amps have horrible eff, its part of the cp deal. Similar to JLs rips tech. They say same power at 1 and 2ohms but its always make more at 1. Also you will never clamp what the birth sheets say unless its tested on a bench with a resistor at 100hz. I will never run RF again because I hate their marketing department. They constinatly push there capacitors on customers. Saying they are better then audio batteries.

The efficiency would **** if I ran it at 1 ohm but I would run the T1500-1BDCP at 2 ohms.
