really this ***** lol I got them tonight and all the internals are loose I am fearing they will cost as much as they are worth to get fixed.... How do you mean time bomb by the way... I treat my amps like babies man never dip below 13 and never wire below rated impendance have yet to fry an amp after ten years of this hobby, if they are known for frying out of the blue for nothing then your right I don't want them.

They have been know to self destruct at random. For example playing your music driving around, stop and go into convenience store to get a tasty beverage. Come out turn the car on and "pop" every MOSFET on the board spontaneously combusts. Heard a few reports of these failing like that, and have a friend who's 4000 worked fine for years then just blew up out of nowhere when he powered it up.

d@mn that would **** no use in ridding of them now im stuck with them lol! I'm going to get one rebuilt and see how it does for a while since im already in the hole on them lol, thanks for the advice.
