ok so, i know its been a couple of weeks since i gave a update on this issue. i got word on my amp from my buddy, yesterday Steve/Amp Medics called my buddy and explained what was wrong with the amp. In his exact words """I have never seen a crescendo go up in this fashion""", i came down to the input voltage being to high for the amp, and it confused him. He said this caused the driver board to blow and like 2 other things(i cant remeber exactly what the other 2 things were. He said it took him 4 hours to repair the 3 problems. Then he asked my buddy if me or the original owner had a line driver connected. I myself do not, and i only have the basic pioneer with the 2.2v pre outs. He said now we just have to see if crescendo warranties it. He said to him, """its not really user error""" but then again its not really the amps fault" either. So idk about the complete out yet but should know shortly(when ever crescendo call the original guy about it).

Should have sent it hear bro .. I have duct tape , wd-40, a copy of amp repair for dummies , could have done it for like 600$ shipped

thats what i said... im not sure if the original guys input voltage is to high but mines not. if his was, he may have just damaged it and then it blew on me.

...... d@mn dude, even if they dont warranty it,Steve said its only gonna be about $200 shipped. He replaced the driver in it and the other 2 parts. d@mn i cant remeber what they are called.

That is some weird ****, hopefully they warranty it, not to mention lucky you got such a quick response, Crescendo had my amp for over a month before I finally got an answer after calling them lol.

well ive been kinda talking directly with amp medics, he fixes the amps for crescendo. i havnt talked to crescendo. i myself cant call crescendo because the warranty is not in my name. so i got wait for endo, to call the original owner of the amp.

Strange none the less. Hopefully they get ahold of the OG soon so youcan get it back an playing. I thought crescendos amps could stand high input voltage?

The history is im only the 2nd owner of the amp. and yea i dont want to pay the $200 but i will if i have to. hell even after paying the 200 i would only be at $650 for it. i only paid $450 for because the guy was bad need of money lol. new they are like $800 or more. so i mean its pretty much a new amp now because he had to replace the driver board and those other parts. i think steve/amp medics warranties his work as well so thats good
