i might have hit th jackpot

soooooo someone i know through a friend might be selling a JL 300/4V2 and a 300W quantum amp(no idea wtf the quantum is. its orange and black tho) for mad cheap. im thinking this could be the base for a decent "cheap comps" build for my new car. im not going to say the price yet, but i will say that i can pick both up for less than 100 bux and they both look pretty nice. not sure if they power up and work tho, ill make sure to test them before i buy. is the quntum worth anything? and would both for 100 bux be a decent deal?

do you know anything about quantum amps? lol, nobody seems to get excited unless its an old school amp(which i would be really excited if i found one).

$100 for the JL alone is a good price if I'm not mistaken. Consider the Quantum a freebie. I've seen them in a few stereo shop and have a hard time believing they do rated power.

Overall, not bad.

I'd say the Quantum's not worth much of anything. Kind of a power-if-you-absolutely-need-it kinda thing.

Just make sure to check the JL thoroughly. Remove the cover and inspect the internals if he'll let you. If you can snag that for less than 100, good deal. I was relatively happy with my 300/4v1 when I owned it.

The JL alone is easily worth that much, take the Quantum and list it on CL for like 50 bucks, and then you've got a great 4 channel for ~50 bucks.
