from what i understand old autotek is solid gear. you probably have a pretty good amp on your hands.

Re: Dinosaur age amp (auto tek MM model44)

Back in the day my system consisted of a Model 44, Model 66 and Model 333

The 44 was benched around 400 RMS bridged at 2 ohms at 12 volts. Very stout amp

Re: Dinosaur age amp (auto tek MM model44)

My guess would be make it 1 ohm or 2 ohm stable.

Current set up: 2010 Buick Enclave, 2 12" MMATS PROCASTS 2.5@35, MMATS D200HC
Hertz 165XL comps in front door, Eclipse XA4000(switching to Alpine 1507)
Pioneer Z150bt Nav, Audio Technix all around.

66 Pontiac GTO, modified stock radio, Xtant 3150x, Trubass 8", Kicker KS6.5's in the front kicks.

Re: Dinosaur age amp (auto tek MM model44)

I thought the same, but why would they make a switch? Why not just leave it at 1ohm and if i used two ohm it wouldn't matter
