I sold that amp a lil while ago, but Yeah I was pretty surprised to see that board at the time. Then I learned how much of a difference components make. It was a very strong amp for the 170$ I paid tho. I had fun with it.
Re: Audioque vs. Digital Designs
There are similarities between the amps but, the boards are laid out very differently.

AQ and DD both use the best parts available. Each of our amps go through a factory burn in and each amp is tested at each production stage. AQ and DD amps have different design goals but each company spares no expense in acheiving those goals. Wouldn't make much sense to make the same amps.

LOL. If they were using the best part's a 2200 watt amp would not cost 429 bucks.

They would be cheaper if the middle man is cut out.

AQ has no middle man(direct to end user), DD does though(dealer market).
Of course if you want to purchase 100 subs at a time you could just order from China I guess if you want a direct purchase lol.

The best parts are not that expensive ;)
Re: Audioque vs. Digital Designs
I'm pretty sure "hand assembled" in America and manufactured in America are two different things. I still think DD falsely advertises about that.

Yeah but, I feel like many companies abuse wording when it comes to assembling their products flow from China.

Most companies and their owners/employees do not understand the difference in terminology.
