    Belva amps, do or don't?

I was looking on sonic electronics and came across these new amps they are carrying. The brand is Belva. The amps all look nice and all but they have low prices for claimed wattage and well I've never heard of them. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them or has done any legit research on them and if they would be worth trying.

when in doubt consider the required fuse rating an indication of real rms power output. i looked for board shots but no luck.

Edit: Also no fuse rating listed, fail.

Re: Belva amps, do or don't?

if they get close to rated 2 bb5000's is a 500 dollar 6k. so not too bad. and the amps look good cosmetics wise.

sonic is only recommending a 200-240 amp fuse so i would say right around the 2500 mark at most.

I've noticed them too. My judgement is only based on price and fuse size, but they look like they'd be worth a try if you're looking at audiopipe/hifonics priced equipment.
Definitely nothing to turn me away after seeing the internals either.

The guts on that BB2000D don't look all that bad. I wouldn't be at all surprised if that one was very close to its rated 1200 rms. I kinda want to try one out

That's what I was thinking. They look like they could do at least 2500 maybe. A pair would be decent on a pair of 12s like imma do.
