For those who have experience with Kicker ZX amplifiers, what is your take on the quality, reliability and most of all the sound from their amplifiers? Are they built well and sound good and produce non-colored sound.

I've owned the zx750.1 (first amp I ever bought) and Imy buddy had the zx2500. They are GREAT amplifiers. Put out some serious power. Thier underated and they sound great.
Kicker makes some great stuff.
Best thing that has ever been shipped to my front door (zx2500.1) 2011 model!
Love the looks and was a big jump in quality and price tag from my hifonics brz amp!
But that's just my take :)
Have owned a little zx400.1 a while back and still one of my favorite amps to date. Very solid.
I liked the mono blocks I didn't care for the zx in the multi channel amplifiers for full range , there well built I just thought they colored the sound too much for my taste
i had a zx1500 for 2 yrs no problem at all very staple amp
I'm running the kx2500 if they're anything alike (Which i think they are similar)than they are great amps. Powerful, sound great and this thing takes a beating and never ever even gets warm.
Loved my zx amps. Go back to them every time I try something else....
my wifes been running her zx1000.1 for 2 years and some change with no problems :thumbsup:
They don't hold a candle to the old KX/SX series amps, but still quality amps that put out great amounts of un-distorted power.Quote:
