Help On Wiring Subs To Amp
Hello I'm Kinda a Noob to car audio but I have 2 crunch 1100 watt ground pounders and 2 dvc 4 ohms subs that handle 500 rms or 1000 max each
problem is I have one sub on each amp at 2 ohms is loud but would it be louder or blow my subs if I wired each coil to diffrent channels on my 2 amps!

Re: Help On Wiring Subs To Amp
it would be fine , but you'll get the same amount of power from only 1 amp if you wire both subs at 1 ohm instead of 2 ohms on each amp. also when running your subs on separate amps you need to line match the amps , which as a noob to car audio might be a little out of your scope of knowledge .
