Fuse requirement: 30A x 2...what does this mean?

OKay guys, i'm still reading the manual of the BP600.1 and it says it needs 30A x 2. what does this mean?

I need to get a 30Amp fuse at the battery and a 30Amp fuse at the amplifier?

Or a 60 amp fuse at the battery?


I'm running a 40amp fuse at teh battery right now.

That means it has 2 30 amp on-board fuses, and I can almost guarantee you they're included with the amp. Probably an extra pair too.

As for power supply, If that is your only amp you should go with at least 8 ga. wire and use a 60a fuse @ the battery.
