those amps do rated power at .5 ohm, sounds like you have dual 2 subs, i would get dual 1ohms subs or diff amps but I wouldnt strap at
    .5

Impedance Rise & Fall is determined by frequency, When burping at .25 its usually high frequencies to keep the amps from protecting with Impedance rise, if you burp below tuning there is a more than likely chance it'll drop the impedance. When I would burp the D9's at .25 I had to burp at 55hz to keep them form protecting.. If I played anything below that it would protect almost instantly.

Im getting them from a guy who is local to me. Its an offer i cant pass up guys. What i will tell you is that if i dont like the popcorns runningeach of them at 1 ohm.(1sub per amp, not strapped) then i have another offer from a guy in tennessee with a skar 4500. And we know those will be fine with a set of subs wired at .5 ohms right?? We will be rockin them bishes then. But i appreciate everyones input , and believe me or not, im getting a team captain from my arwa , texting me telling me that he actaully has teammates with eh popcorns strapped at .25 and thewy handle it like a dang champ. Says they can burp all day long at .17 or some shitt. I couldnt believe it when he told me, i even questioned him to make sure he waswnt just messing with me after seeing this thread come up on the forums. He assured me that he wasnt playing and that they can handle the .25 daily and can burp at .17. Im not saying that im going to do it, so plesae tell the guy who treied to burn me that no, im not planning on runninf them at magical and mystical 0 ohm load. I just wanted to share the information that was given to me. 1. That they can handle .25 daily and #2 they can burp at .17 all day long.

2ohm daily and 5.ohm for burps if you ever compete. Rolling up the volume to avoid going into protect...
