big 3 is important you asking alot more of your charging system adding 2k+ watts and expeting your alt and batt to keep up with the 6 or 8 gauge wire they use factory . i would do that before anything really. can get a big 3 kit if you do your research and take proper measurements ram designs offers one for like 60$ i think comes with terminals crimped and heat shrinked on already
