Well you need to know your music. You'd clip with an o-scope as well if you set it with the wrong song.
i would personaly just get a -3db 40hz tone to set gains, much safer and u wont have to worry about clipping really. -0db if u want to be real safe, but u will lose more output.Quote:

pretty much. as for the op i wouldnt deffinitly reset ur gain with a different track. track 5 is asking for trouble and u will most likey have blown subs.

A -3 tone compared to a -5 tone isn't going to make the difference between blowing subs and not.
