    Amplifier Help

I am very new at car audio and i have a 98 chevy astrovan and i want to give it 3 10's (car came with a custom sealed fiberglass enclosure 3 slots 10 inch) and i have been looking and i want something that will shake my car so i decided on 3 Kicker CVX's 1000W RMS and DVC 2 ohms to get the ohms impedence down to 1.3 ohms but i dont know how to pick a amplifier. I think i need a amp that can handle either 1 or 2 ohm impedence with around 3000W RMS but im not sure. I am looking into AQ if thats a option. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Hopefully on of the mods can move it.

OP, to really shake that van, you want more than 3 10's, think more like 3 15's. Measure how much space you have and are willing to lose for a box, that will determine the biggest woofer you can get in there. Go out and measure some dimensions.

Edit: Didn't really answer the topic...
Take a look around at DC, AQ, Sundown, DD, MMats, Crescendo's 3.5k amps. Those are all 1 ohm or below stable. You will need to understand the amount of draw they will have on your system, and upgrading your electrical system will no doubt be necessary. You're looking at batteries and almost surely a new alternator.

Your right it was for the 15 inch and the 10's are 600 rms. Is there any higher powered 10 inch that anyone knows, and i have a second battery and a alternator that is new. What type of amp do i need (D class, monoblock, 2 channel, 4 channel) i know i should be looking it up but its all confusing to me

Ummmm. Find a good monoblock amp. You dont have to spend a ton of money either. There is some really nice stuff out there for a good price. As far as 10" subs.
    1. Sundown
    2. Skar

    1. Sundown makes a Z-series sub and an extremely loud sub called Nightshade
    2. Skar Audio makes a newer line called the ZVX series. They are beastly subs and are nice as well. PM or message me if you want to look into either one of those.

Kidding with this, right? DC, DD, Sundown, AQ, Fi, PSI, there are a lot of good brands. Also, @SPLaudio and @hispls .

But I'd really look into bigger subs with that much airspace in that vehicle. Go big man.
