Bump
i like my american bass ph-4100fd its ridiculously efficient and the matching mono has been clamped for 90% efficiency. personally i like matching amps so if i were you id buy a zx350.4 which is a great amp just more expensive than previously mentioned amps. my american bass amp was bought for like 129 from carstereogiant.com and they have awesome customer service. when my last sub i ordered was on back order they immediately called me to let me know and i ended up getting a bigger sub for a discounted upgrade price. now i just need more power for the sub.

WHY THE F DOESNT AMERICAN BASS MAKE COMPONENTS???/
I'm in the same boat as OP here. Trying to figure out how to wire my system so I'm ready for when my 4 channel gets here. What size of fuse should I use for 4ga and 8ga wire?
Right now I have 4ga run from the battery to the rear where the sub amp is and there is a 60amp fuse a few inches from the battery. The sub amp puts out 500wrms and the 4 channel will put out 300wrms. Do I need to get a bigger fuse by the battery?
Also, I will be using a fused distro block. I'll be running the 4ga that's already ran to the back right now into it, and then the same 4ga out of it (so I'm basically sticking the distro block in the current path of the 4ga) plus the new 8ga I will be getting in an amp kit for the 4 channel will come out of the distro block.
Here is a diagram if it helps:

Ordered the ONX4.80
Also ordered all the wiring and whatnot that I need from KnuKonceptz, and I decided on going with the 0 awg to the trunk to a distribution block. Little more money, but my car is a MAJOR PITA to take apart, so if I am going to go through the BS of running an 8g I would rather run the 0 and have more head room later on.
