Stetsoms do rated?

Title. The model I'm looking at is the Stetsom 6k5. 2 ohm model. States 6850 rms @ 2 ohms, 13.8 volts. $977 on ssa store. Doesn't even look like it has dual inputs.

for burps yes. for daily.... nah. there mostly used for spl and multiple low ohm burps. they are very strong amps if set up right. have to have killer electrical and have ZERO vibration. there magic smoke machines. dont see too many around that use them for more then spl car setups. and for the price i would look into a rd d9, dc 5k, ia40.1, something along those lines for reliable daily amps for $1k

Thanks for the info. Yeah I'm looking for 6500+ at 2 ohm I'm thinking bout getting a third hcca and running them at 2.67 ohm. That's why the Stetsom caught my eye. I think I'll have to look elsewhere doesn't sound like a durable daily amp at all lol

crossfire vr4000 is a decent 5k at 2 ohm. or you could just get 2 sundown 3ks and strap them? your best bet might be 2 3ks if your looking for 6k

stetsom amps DO RATED PERIOD doesn't matter if u running it daily or not. like does that even make sense? current draw is current draw either it can or it can't pull enough to meet its ratings.

OP you addressed the inputs. They aren't even oversized car audio style 1/0 ga. inputs!!! you have to buy dual inputs to properly provide enough current to the amp (which stetsom sells as well as toolmaker and project db).

Stetsom amps are extremely powerful in a tiny package, as long as you give it enough juice it'll pump out gobs of power daily or however you plan to use it.

Many that NEVER EVEN USE STETSOM regurgitate what others say about the brand. I have used their products and love them. Buying another 7 kd as we speak

i ran my 4k2d on my SS XXX 15 for a couple months, (until it broke loose from the mounts), the amp performed with out a flaw, mine was the 2 ohm model, i ran it at 1.2 daily, it never even hinted at going into protect, i actually got a set of copper triple inputs for mine, and really didnt have much of a voltage issue either.

and it was mounted on my enclosure, so they really arnt that sensitive to vibration.

yes they are reliable daily. i had a 4k2d 2ohm version running on my nightshade 15 at 1ohm and didn't even get hot. dual inputs vary and mine had to be taped to keep from touching and sparking/shorting out the amp. but that wasn't a big deal. Some dual inputs wouldn't even require that. And they play music flawlessly, matter of fact i would say it sounds better than some other amps ive used.

i will be getting my 4k2 back from being repaired, (because of it falling into the box terminals...) and it will be back on the xxx motor reconed down into a nasty 12. i love the way it sounded and performed daily, and was pretty pissed when my mounting failed.

I would never run a stetsom daily a buddy of mine had a 7k voltage was dropping to 13.4 and was wired at 1ohm amp wasnt on the box and it went up in flames........threw in one of my dc5k and was .2db louder....the only way stetsom are in some what okay amp is if your running a 18v 14k In a van and your burping it for 30 seconds but then again there still better to be had

most stetsom failures are due to USER ERROR period

Friend had no problem running his 2k5d daily for months on a stock civic alt and an extra c&d battery. Did lots of power at 1 ohm and not bad even wired at 4 ohms.
