You shouldn't be worried what it can do at 4 ohm you should be worried about what i can at 2. And that amp is good for around 500 @ 2 ohm so you should be fine. I love the small footprint of that Sony too.
But the impedance of the sub is 4 ohms? And I absolutely love the size of it, I'm planning on just sliding it behind my jumper seat if I do purchase it.
yes, but it has DUAL voice coils.
That makes your wiring options either 2 ohms:

With a 400w sub I'd definitely go with the 2 ohm wiring option, getting ~500w out of the amp. A reduced gain setting (and no bass boost) should keep your sub perfectly safe.
If you go with 8 ohms you'd only get 150w or so.
