I don't think you will get much better quality, durability or performance for the $

so few reviews on them was hard to see i know they are known just been digging for info for awhile now . if you had the money would you get the sundown 1500v3 or the c5 1700?

That amp is rated at 12.5 volts. I have read clamps of 1200w on 13v at 2 ohms rising to 3.5...if you keep the voltage up between 13 and 14 at .5 nominal, you could easily see the 2.5kw - 3kw range.

that may be pushing it for daily on the SA's American Bass XFL, SSA ICON..Look into customs too...and yes, ported. @hispls ; @SPLaudio ; @g6ryder ;

aq subs require huge boxes dont they? if i wanted to run 2 12s 3.0's?

in the neighborhood of 4.5^3 for 2 12's, so yea, they like a bigger box than some.

i drives a pontiac g6 lol if the subs get super pricey in that power range i may step down to the saz1500v3 and pic subs for it even tho its not much less power it is less monies

I understand, and the SA's are underrated some and priced decent for what they do. That might be a better choice, the Crossfire C5's and the CV Strokers and things of that build quality are expensive compared to the Sundown/DC/AQ/Crescendo amps. Check out the B2 Quota amp as well ..a very underrated 1200w for $250.
