Flex, you're making me want to amplify my door speakers now too LOL My wife will throw me out if I go crazy on the money.

I'm already debating the sub again. Powerbass L-104D or Alpine Type R. The Type R can be found for just $25 more than the Powerbass. I gotta stop, next thing you know it will be another 25, then another... I do this with my new Ram, my dirtbikes, etc.
Sticking with my guns on the Alpine MRX-M50 amp though.

2V from HU vs/ up to 9.5V from the one example. Monoblock or multi-channel, doesn't matter, the higher input V should result in less noise amplification. Add to that all the additional features, a couple of which you mentioned.

HU preout voltage has no relevance in this scenario. HU speaker levels are all the same - about 8 VRMS. And they're differential (bridged) to boot. Feeding low impedance differential line levels directly to the amp is the lowest noise signal possible. Adding an external LOC doesn't buy you anything.

The 4 speaker inputs are there so you don't lose output as you fade the factory deck to the front or rear.

    yeah, it never ends, lol.
dave says u won't gain anything with a good LOC...

    Troll fail
Wow you are just plain lost. The speaker level outputs from the head unit will never be cleaner than the amplifier that is built into the head unit. Any distortion from the head unit will be passed to the LC6, then the LC6 will add it's distortion to the output. You may avoid induced noise through the RCAs but the signal will still not be as clean as using the built in speaker level inputs on the amp. The LC6 is great if you don't have another option, but it's not a magic signal cleaning device.

Re: LOC vs Line Level Inputs on Amp

Ok. I will use the line level inputs until I decide on a better head unit to replce the factory one. Once I get a new head unit, I will run rca's of course. Then add an amp for the door speakers maybe. I just hate running new speaker wire through the jambs to the doors. Sux!
