crossfire xp 1400 vs american bass vfl 100.1

i already have a bnib vfl 100.1 and may pick up a crossfire from a friend. any pros or cons to either amp? trying to decide which to trade/sell to get another and strap looking for someone who has had both because being on house arrest i really cant do much testing </3....

i have heard and read so many good things about crossfire tho? is it just the xp 1400 specifically? or user not having good electrical? do you have anything to back this up?

my team mate had 2 of these amps and the blew up a month after installing them.sent back to crossfire and they could not figure out why they blew , but they did.his electrical is 3 200 amp alts and 5 batteries so that was not the issue.
