Sundown Ausio NS-1 production version 12v clamp
Ok, so some our Team Sundown guys got their NS-1's and clamped them on a resistor...this basically means there's no rise
the resistor pack used for this test is 0.7 ohms
Power supply 8 Stinger SP 2150's resting at 12.9v
measured
80 volts
114 amps
voltage drop 11,8v
Power: 9120 watts
guys said the amps is a beast in terms of low impedance stability, stayed cool the whole time
the vid

Effficiency
984 Amps of draw
at 11,8 volts
78% efficiency at 0.7 ohms is **** good

the only motivation i have is to wait for my tax return so i can buy my car. lol

edited the first post as well
Re: Sundown Ausio NS-1 production version 12v clamp
have you tried multiple wire per input yet.... wonder if you could increase that efficiency up to 80%.... lol

we'd have to hook an o-scope to it to know that. wasn't the point of this particular test

not trying to dump on ya...

LOL sure hope so... let's say it's wide open. but in burp scenario with the amp wired to 0.25 that'd be around what I would expect to see in terms of power
I have two NS-1 going into my ram, so time permitting we will clamp them next week...I don't have anywhere near that type of battery bank just yet, but I will make sure we shoot a vid of us using the SMD DD-1 on it

in russia, they give amp to me for free!
