If you can get an xs d3100 you'll be as close to set as you can be with a single battery in the back. if you dont have one on you hu then buy a little digital voltmeter for up front, and watch that mofo. My rule of thumb is avoid letting it get under 12v. it also helps alot to make sure your rpm's are up, say at or around 3k. Bumping at idle will drain your **** quick. if possible stop bumping a few min before you get to your destination so that the bats can get a lil bit of a charge before you let the car sit.
do not crank that up on a stock alt a nd a single bat up front. wait till you have some juice for it. ho alty sooner or later will help alot. and you'll hear the difference
