    Kicker zx400.1

    Why do my two mtx t4512s on my zx400 sound louder than my friends two rf p3s on his prime 1000 watt amp? Seems like 1000 watts would be louder than 400.

    Even though it's cea compliant? I thought that meant that the rated power was correct.

    Its called impedance rise, insufficient electrical system, vehicle acoustics, Horrible box design,
    etc...BRO



    4 DC level 4 xl 15's in a 4th order bandpass
    4 IA 40.1s @ .5 ohm
    1 10zx650.4 running 2 Kicker QS 6 1/2's
    1 iraggi 180 amp alt
    11 Deka intimidators
    HU - Alipine CD123
    157 db at 38hz on 2 IA 40.1s @ 1 Ohm clamped at 6000 watts, new set up numbers unknown

    so if i had his amp but had it hooked up to my electrical system and subs and everything it would be louder in my car than his?
