    Huge amp shopping! (yay)

The problem is, to get down to it, is that I'm a little bass bitzch and want to thump extreme. I have practically no money, but would like to find a good amp 200 to 250 cash that will push in the general area of 2000 to 2500 watts max, 1000 to 750 rms at either mono 2ohm or two channel 4ohm. I know there is an orion amp out there that is exactly what I need... But is there a parralel to it???

Checking stuff out on ebay... Orion amps seem to be good for what I need and I see a few that might be good for my application... But the descriptions are so vague. Help!!!!

You might have to be a little more specific. What ohms are your subs going to be wired to??

Forget the Max power rating all together. I have a 2 channel That does 1,000,000 watts Max ILS (If Lightning Strikes)

I do have a few Hifonics BX1500d's that I got off ebay for about 250+shipping, they do 1500rms @1 ohm 1000@2 ohms and 500@4ohms. Pretty versital amp if you ask me. Directed Amps arent to bad for the price either

hey pro-rabbit is selling some american bass cx1200d's. I have goten 2 off of him, a good guy to deal with.

They are 1 ohm stable, a mono amp and put out 1200 RMS at 1 ohm. I know you said you needed power at 2 ohms. I called Bob from American Bass yesterday and asked what the amp puts out at 2 ohms and he said 900+ RMS.

Yes I am. Instead of the same old stuff I used the old 8 gage power wire from my car, eliminated the terminal cups and ran it through two little holes drilled in plywood scraps nailed over the old terminal cup holes. :thumbsdow I know, it didn't do much, but it LOOKS like it does!!!
For those who actually are trying to help...
I would LIKE to run at above or under "1000 watts rms mono 2 ohm" or "500 watts rms per channel 4ohm (i.e. to channel amp)."
I'd like to keep the max power below 2400 watts, as my power handling is only 2000 but as they are Orions, they are a tad underrated. Sound quality is still sorta important too. Thanks.
