    whats your feedback on the best way to tune a amp..



    Subs
    2 IA Death penalty 15's
    Highs and Mids
    2 IA Comp sets
    Amps
    1 AB VFL200.1
    1 Mmats SQ4150

    Batteries
    3 Deka intimidator 1000amp 100ah AGM's

    you can use a cheap dmm works pretty good



    Daily Driver 1990 Honda CRX
    Head Unit-Jvc double din
    Subs- 2 sundown sa8s
    Amp-Sundown sae 1200d (just took a crap)
    box-.75 cubes each tuned to 34 hz

    tune how? adjust gain? adjust crossovers?

    this question is too general.

    without proper tools, you can only make subjective changes by using your ear with proper test CD's. if your ear is untrained or you don't have test CD's, then tuning by ear is less effective.

    best way to tune an amp is to pay a professional to do it and teach you.

    i used Test CD's, a DMM, and an oscilloscope.

    if someone don't own or know how to use a DMM, i don't think they should be installing amplifiers. proper installation requires a minimum amount of knowledge to be safe about it.
