    can my Xtant 600/rms power a 750/rms?

I have an Xtant 600watt mono amp. I am looking for the loudest deepest 12" subwoofer I can run with that amp. I have narrowed it down to 2 choices, either an RF HX2 500/rms 1000/max or a pioneer TS-W2000SPL 750/rms 2,000/max. I am kind of leaning toward the pioneer, however I cant find out much about it. none of my local stores have one on demo. Do you guys think my xtant amp will be able to run the pioneer? is the pioneer a good sub or would I be better with the HX2? I realize that most of these questions are up to personal opinion, I am just trying to get some feedback. Thanks in advance for your help.

At what impedance is your amp rated at 600 watts rms?

my amp is rated 600w @ 2 ohms, 400w @ 4 ohms. I just want a good SPL subwoofer that will be heard from outside my car. Im not looking to build a show system. I could spend a few hundred dollars. I am going with a ported box and the sub will need to be dual 4ohm.

I would look into a JL 12w6v2. It will run great off your amp, it has dual 4 ohm voice coils, so if you wire it in parellel it will drop it to 2ohm. It handles 400watt rms, so just ride the gain a little low on your amp. Also I would look into an Infinity Perfect. Look on ebay and I believe you can buy a jl 12w6v2 for around $300 and you can get a Perfect for around $150.

Re: can my Xtant 600/rms power a 750/rms?

ok so Ill take ypur advice and get an infinity perfect. Should I get a 4ohm SVC sub so my amp only puts out 400 watts? or should I go for the full 600. I have blown a type R 300rms with this amp and I dont want to blow this perfect.
