How can coem companies say that their amp puts out 2000 watts when it barly puts out 500 dont u think that there would be some kind of false advertising goign on here?

They usually overexaggerate it if they are a 'sub(no pun intended!) par company. The watts they claim to have are probably the very top of the peak the amp will hit before it conks out. Its not the rms wattage so they get away with it. Your guess is as good as mine!
