    Icon32 100% newb question

Here's a problem thats probably really easy to solve but here goes... I got two subs I want to wire thru my amp, it's a 2 channel 800W Kenwood (I'm poor and newb leave me alone). Now problem is it puts out about 230Wx2, and the stuff I got can only take 150W Nominal... I know it may sound dumb to wire subs in stereo, but I'm considering it because I like to have my bass slide, since my subs are kind of spread out in the trunk. Had to build the trunk INTO the box kind of... to make them fit. 2 12' subs are hard to fit into an 81 Camaro :\ Whats the best way to stop me from blowing anything up? Turn the gain down? but then how do I know what a good rating is on it? I have a 60Wx4 Alpine H/U, so 4 volt pre outs. Anyways, all help will be appreciated! Also wiring diagrams would be helpful to any solutions you have. The subs are 4 ohms and only single voice coil.

    Edit: I speel gud

    Re: 100% newb question

That Kenwood amp should be fine. Put the gain mid way. Turn it up. If they bottom out turn the gain down, if they are hardly moving, turn the gain up. Find the right spot for those subs at the volume you most lesson to.
