Icon32 HELP- want to know if this amp is right for subssss

i have a pair of pioneer 12 inch 305dvc's. 400 rms, 800 max each. im on a tight budget as you can see, and i was looking at this amplifier. i've never heard of power acoustik, but looking at the numbers, the LT-1920 puts out 440 watts at 2 ohm, and 370 watts at 4 ohm. please let me know if it's the right choice to buy this amp. cheapest place i found it is 155 bucks. is it worth it? thanks for all advice!!

Are those subs DVC 4 ohm or 2 ohm? If 4 ohm it may not be quite enough power, there isn't anything wrong with underpowering, but half the rms of a a sub like that may not do much, especially when the subs are underrated. If they are 2ohms you coudl wire to two ohms and get a bit more power. For 150 bucks you could probably get a better amp than that. Maybe a soundstream rubicon from www.millionbuy.com or JBL 600.1 off ebay would work quite well, for only a bit more money.

Re: HELP- want to know if this amp is right for subssss

the subs are 4ohm, but i wired them so they would be a 2 ohm load each so that helps... i see that jbl 600.1 is a mono amplifier. how would i wire two speakers to that if i have them on two diffreent chambers and wiring them in series or parallel would be a lil difficult. my friend is sellin me a kicker kx400.1, 450 tested rms. would this do the job if i wired them right? thanks for all the help.
