Best amp for Orion HCCA 15.4

Hello, noobie here, I need help choosing the best amp for my orion hcca 15.4. I would like to run a min. 3000rms (one big amp or 2 smaller amps). I have two MB Quart Onyx 1500.1d, but only have one hooked up because I don't have the Maxx Link yet. I think the lowest I can run is 2 ohms if not mistaken with just the one sub, so if any one can help me get a min. 3000rms i would greatly appreciate it, thanks.....

Be very very caerful attempting to give this woofer more than 2KW continuous...even there I'd be careful. They are only "rated" to handle 1200W IIRC. Orion claims in their marketing how they handled over 6KW before they failed. Please do NOT try this at home.

....pic related HCCA subs that were fed 4KW... catastrophic thermal failure in < 1 minute music.

Tune low, keep 'em under 2KW and you'll be happy, they're a beefy sub for ground-pounding I think, but don't think they'll handle power like a DC Level 5 or T3 or DD 99XX

I still think they'd be great ground pounders tuned low off 2KW ish. They are mechanically very very rugged and overbuilt, just thermally I wouldn't trust them with over 1500W for too long. I'd power them with 2KW a piece and just back off if they start smelling.

Thanks everyone, I saw you mentioned the DC Level 5 or T3 or DD 99XX, are those a big step up above the Orion that I have and will they take more power? what other subs out there should I look at, keep in mind I am only running one sub now and it sounds good but I wold like more power....
