Icon8 Newb Help.. amp wont turn on!!!!!

okay.. i just installed a boss chaos c450 amp 2 channel 4 ohm and it worked for a day. We were bumping it and after the end of the night, it just cut off. i checked to see what was wrong and the 25 fuse had blown.. replaced it and tryied it again and the protection led only turns on for like a second and then nothing happens.. green light wont work nothing.. checked the inline fuse in the battery and it's fine. checked ground and blue hu wire to the amp, fine. what else could be wrong.. alll the sudden it was working, and then all the sudden it doesn't work.. did i fry the amp? what would cause it to fry so bad.. thought the fuse in the amp was for that reason. any help greatly appreciated.

Re: Newb Help.. amp wont turn on!!!!!

is ur remote on connection still good? with an old amp i had it would turn on for about 1 second and then cut off if the remote on wasn't on the amp.

if ur remote power is coming off of a fuse in ur fuse box that is only on when the car is on then check that fuse. i blew it by accident today while changing amps

Your subs are probably wired incorrectly. You are most likely trying to push the amp in a way that it cannot handle. Tel us what sub(s) you have, what the impedence (ohms) is, and how many voice coils (single or dual). Then, tell us how you have them wired.
