3 10" PGs need opinion on amp

i was thinking about some different setups with the 10" PGs and i was looking for amp that could carry the load of all three 10s or i was looking for a setup of amps to run to each speaker and which brand would be the best quality.

the 10" PGs have an RMS of 500 and the peak power is around 700watts total out put power steady at 4 ohms just looking for the setup and brand of amp to hook up that could run all 3 i was thinking going with 3 500 watt amps but i didnt want to spend that much money or going with 1 amp that was big enough to carry a load that high. any suggestions

It all depends on the voice coil configurations of the subs. I believe if you are wiring all 3 4 ohm subs up to one amp you are running it at 1.3 ohms...I think, correct me if I am wrong. Tsunami, Hifonics, Avionixx, any good digital amps can usually run at this configuration without too many heating problems.

it alll depends on the coil config.

either way ur not going to get a straight ohm load. ur gona get something like 1.34 or 3.4 ohms.

your ohm load will be 2.67 ohms - check the sticky in the wiring section

i would advise the jbl 1200.1 if your on a budget and wouldn't mind underpowering a little, and the tsunami db1800 if you have the money - overpowering those PGs won't be bad because they're slightly underated, but i wouldn't go over 600w apiece. Plus since your resistance load will be a little over 2 ohms...you won't get the full amount of power that the tsunami will put out...probably about 1500 at 2ohms.

i would just go with one 15" their on ebay for $115 shipped-you wouldn't need as big of amp - and you won't need to upgrade your alternator - i'm assuming you have a stock alternator...

Seriously... I would either get Sony or Audiobahn...and put them on a nice pyle or pyramid amp or if you have the money legacy...you would have an awesome sql setup and put them in a prefab bandpass box...all for around $100.

oh yeah man that sony setup with the pyle amp and bandpass box sounds really good i would blow any system lol not really thanks for the bad idea though

Why not go for 1 or 2 subs in the setup? More volume in the box for each sub, les wattage required, ease of installation a lot easier, can make 2 subs sound as good if not better than 3...All positive points, not to mention easier of the wallet!

yeah 2 would be a better choice i was just workin up some ideas and founding a couple of things before i actually set anything up just checkin all possibilities
