Where to set gain and bass control knob for AQ1200d

Hey guys I'm gonna be pushing a AQ SDC2.5 with a AQ 1200d and was wondering where to set the gains at with the bass control knob?

My initial thought was to turn the bass knob all the way up and set my gains where I wanted it, that way, I wont ever turn the the gain too far up.. Is this the right way to do this? If not, please inform me.

just turn the gain up until you see your AQ bass remote clipping light flashing. YOu don't want to clip

The knob that comes with the AQ amp forthe gain though correct? not for bass boost?

Leave bass boost all the way down. Set the gain with a dmm and use the gain setting tutorial on realm

Well thr aq amp does not have bass boost, and I always keep thr subwoofer settings on my kenwood headunit at 0 anyways.
