No, since its a mono amp you only have to use 1 out of the 4.

one pair might be input (you need to use both, not just one) and the other pair might be output (to link to other amps).

If you use only one RCA cable, then only when the left channel bass hits, the sub will hit. people usually don't separate sub frequencies, they want the bass to hit regardless of left or right. Use both left AND right channels.

Are you referring to the JBL BP300.1 (not 300.4)???

    If so,

The two pairs of RCAs are for nonfading bass. You can use any one pair.

Nevertheless, I HIGHLY recommend getting two 2M1F Y-interconnects and splitting your incoming 2 RCA's into 4. so Your LEFT RCA goes into the Y-adapter and then you will have two LEFT RCAs. Plug those two into the two LEFT RCA input on the amp. Do the same for the RIGHT RCA. You will notice a dramatic increase in output power.

TRUST ME. I have 2 of these mono amps (a 600.1 (up for sale ) and a 1200.1) and when I installed the Y-adapter, I could hear (and feel) the difference. I even played around with it by putting a song on repeat and listening to it with and without the Y adaptor. Good Luck.
