    Tsunami 1800 in Protect

Ok so I got my stuff all installed finaly today.
    XXX 15 (.7 dvc)
    4.5 cubes
    Tsunami 1800 (1.4 ohms)
    200 Amp alternator
It's wanging along then the amp goes into protect. I'd been playing it pretty loud for about 10 minutes. Now the amp is stuck in protect (happened about 1 hour ago).
The amp wasn't even warm (No were near my 850d).
I know the tsunami is rated at 2 ohms but I've seen a few people run it at 1.4.
Should I leave the gains set pretty low? Is protection mode timed?
Any ideas would be very much appreaciated.

    I popped my inline fuse.
It was a 120 amp when I believe my amp draws more than that.
