The MB Quart is 299.00 and the 379.00, I have heard good stuff about the AQ and only a little feedback on the MB Quart but from the pics of the internals they seem solid, not that I'm a specialist or anything!

The DCS2000.1D is 2200 watts RMS!
It is no way similar to any Hifonics amp.

Do you have some kind of viable proof that it is not as good as the other forum members are saying it is? I have used several of the discuss amps on multiple installations including the 1500.1 and 2000.1. The dsc series amps are extremely strong IMHO, but I have never clamped them so I can't really say that they are over or under rated. Please explain your position with some viable numbers and possibly some pics of you clamping the amps.

Every time I have been around one when clamped it did rated only near clipping and it was dirty power at that!
comparing AQ to MB or HF is just dumb.Go be stupid elsewhere....[/QUOTE]
i posted this in a forum before how aq and hifonics have like the same motherboard layout so makes you wonder about maybe they have the same kind of Quality just different brand names but anyways there both good products
![]()
id go with the aq, not only just cuz i have one..but because u just compared pics ofa 2607 which id believe would be a higher powered amp then the mb quart and that has a similar board to the aq...and the only people i really see taking the mb quart side are the ones that have to do with maxxonics
Maxxsonics makes good budget stuff but the common ignorant statement that the Brutus and Discus lines have the same boards is completely wrong.
Also not all Hifonics amps are bad,
