    efficient

ok so i have a 92 camry LE ...with 80 amp stock alternator... what is the max current draw i can get from it without having any serious side-effects....i am not in the position to upgrade my electrical system right now

also if you could suggest an amp that would work good with the above info.. that would be great... basicly i need a really efficient amp that does not cost more that $300shipped...i would prefer a amp under $200.... (new or used)..i will most probably be powering 1 or 2 pioneer premier TS-W1241C (500w rms--1000wmax)

Probably around 800+ you might be seeing dimmage, if you get a red top or the BIG battery from autozone, I forget it's name.

    a bx1000d is about 200-230? on ebay, 1kw@ 1ohm.

If you get the big battery you shouldnt see too much dimmage.

I had about 1.7kw and I would see definate dimmage when I would play it loud and I have a 100amp alt and a red top, just for reference.

Also if your interested, which you might not considering how most people dont like Profile to begin with and hear crappy stories about them, but you can look into the Profile CA1200 if those subs are dual voice coil, then you could wire them down to 2 ohms each and with that amp they would see somewhere in the neighborhood of 400+ watts a peice. If theyre not dvc then they will only see 300 watts a peice. Also if you only plan on power one and they are 4ohm svc then you can look at a Profile CA800 which does 600rms at 4 ohms bridged. Its just a suggestion.

Well a class d would be more efficient than these amps i listed but then again they arent pushing a thousand plus watts either. I have a 600msx on a 30 amp fuse running 410 watt rms and its on a 30 amp fuse and has been for a really long time and I have yet to make it pull enough to blow that fuse. Even if I run the amp into clipping a little but on purpose to to try and blow it, it still wont blow.
