    Why won't my amp turn off?

    Sundown SAZ-1000d won't turn off.
    Any thoughts?

    Constant 12v on the remote wire. Get a meter and check it.

    whats the romote hooked up to? you need it on a switched 12v, i suggest useing the radio fuse if your head unit doesnt have a remote

    to shut it off just unplug the remote wire.

    Um okay so i had it unpluged for about 30 min then i reconected the rem and the power wire and all seems good. thanks

    me too. thats why I said to check that first. left me dumbfounded on my last install lol
    1/0 wire + 4 gauge inputs= ftl
