What size power and ground wires do you recommend for the 1800d? Is 4 gauge too small?

Same size as your power. Hopefully both 1/0
Yea, i had a shop look at my setup and they told me the amp was faulty, so I had it checked out and turned out to be ok. I checked the wires they hooked it up with and they are four gauge and the amp is grounded to the cap. So Im guessing, I should just up grade the wire?
always over built the electrical. much less problems. 1/0 is what i would put.

Yeah ground the amp to the chasis not to the cap. Caps are useless anyway.

Yea I was pissed when I seen that was where they grounded it to. I guess I could just get rid of the cap altogether. Its best to ground both amps to the same spot right? Sorry for the simple questions.
