I have a Xplod Mono Block Xm-6001GXD 1000watt amp and have 2 subs. How would I wire these subs to create a 1 ohm load if it is even possible?

that amp is gonna get pretty f.u.c.k.i.n. hot if you run it at 1ohm...
One of my friends from work told me about how he and one of his friends wired an Xplod 1000 @ 1 ohm and the amp literally blew up.![]()

i wouldnt recomend running it to 1 ohm....but good luck...
Well if you run 3 subs off of it it will creat a 1.33ohm load
and the maunual says since this above 1 ohm it will be ok, but I dont know it seems pretty sketch

I believe that amp is stable down to 1-ohm, although I haven't checked to make sure. You need to tell us whether you have 2,4,6,8 ohm subs.
Yes it is the Mobile ES series. I have 2 4 ohm subs

The lowest you could go would be 2 ohms with those two subs (bridged). If sony says 1 ohm stable, then you should definately be O.K.

You should not worry unless they are DVC.Originally posted by XplodX

Why are people afraid of blowing up there **** its like nobody has a warranty on there **** or what. After you blow up you **** you get new stuff until the store gets pissed and gives you something diff. or you get your cash back. These amps are 1 ohm - 8 ohm stable whats the problem. Why open your trap if you know **** all.
I will never understand why people don't know there roll and never shut thier hole.
