Very true! Not a scratch or ding on the amp! Under plate has a couple scratches, that's it! Original plugs and wires! Best one I have seen in a long time! Let's put it on the bench tomorrow!

The 2500 is efficient though for a AB amp.

There are a few differences between the to Opti amps. The older ones (500) are unregulated and IIRC the newer ones (2500) are regulated and there is a big difference in their power output.

Mine is unregulated. It's a 1996 build. Can run up to 16v if you want to it. Dual direct leads of power and ground.

My Orion 425 HCCA which runs everything in my Tundra.
Stock JBL components and a JL Audio 10w3v3-4 sub in a .70 down firing sealed enclosure.
Moderately loud but very clean.

Yes, RATED the same, but their actual output OS different. The 2500 iirc, did ~1050, whereas the 500 does ~1300.
