Icon32 Memphis Belle 16-ST1300D Amp - Good or Not

Is anyone familiar with this Memphis Belle 16-ST1300D amp? I believe that it is a 5-ch amp that is like 75 watts x 4 @ 4-ohm and like 1100 x 1 @ 1-ohm. I could be wrong though. I wouldn't mind to try this amp out to see how it performs. Has anyone used or is using this amp? Current draw? Reliability and performance? Open to all opinions. Thanks.

    2001 Altima System:
    Alpine CDA-9855 (3Way Mode)
Kicker Resolution RS6 Components (Active Setup)
    CDT Tweeter Image Enhancement Kit
3 Ascendant Audio Arsenal 12's (Sealed)
    Kicker KX650.4
    Kicker KX1200.1 @ 0.67-ohm

Very good all the way around, if you have that kind of cash.

Is this not a reasonable place to park?

solid performer with strong output, loaded with all the processors you would need. basically two amps in one chasis...good class a/b for the mid and high channels and a powerful class d for the sub section. I love single footprint type of amps....

So, you would take this amp in a heartbeat? I am thinking of using it to see how it sounds on my setup

I use the term "single footprint amp" in reference to having a single multiple channel amp with enough channels to run an entire system and still maintain your fade and balance control. They make for a some what easy wiring install. Just make sure you take the time to properly setup the controls on the amp.

the belle really is a work of art.

if you are looking for a single amp to run everythibg, i would say that the belle is an excellent choice.

i would go for a simple system - active with some components and a single high end sub, like an IDMax, a DD9100, eD A or maybe even a Stereo Integrity (if you are interested in the latter driver, speak to Rangerman, as he seems very impressed with its capabilities).

on a further note, the belle is essentially the same as a very renowned european brand, SPL DYNAMICS, who produce the PRO-1300D - essentially a belle in every way, except for the stickres on it!

go get it (but it wont be cheap )
