Icon32 What is the best recommended amp for W7?

    Hi,

I have JL audio's W-7 (8 inch) woofer in it's original box. I want to buy JL audio's Amplifier to support this woofer. Which one you recommend me to buy?

Don't overdo it. JL will not replace fried coils. Just get the 500. that should do it.

Slash 500/1 is made for the sub pretty much so I'd go with that one.

The w7 has a kind of weird impendence. So it matches up with the slash series amps by jl real nice because they put out the same juice at supposedly any impendence. I'm not sure about when your get into 8 ohms and higher, but it tis what I have heard.

just to increase the odds of people buying jl amps when they buy jl subs. Any mono thats 600-800 w at 2 ohms would work well too.
