Need help with wiring kit *URGENT*

Hey, im looking for an amp to power my soon to be had PG Ti 10Ds. I want a Crunch V-drive v-1200 and it is 1ohm stable at 750w. on sounddomain it says that it has 8 awg power/ground terminals. Does that mean that is only except 8awg. I thought that with that amount of power i should be using atleast a 4awg.

also I wanted to get a wiring kit. ive been looking and some come with different fuse sizes. which size would i need?

    Thanks

8 AWG Power/Ground terminals means it only accepts up to 8AWG. Use 4AWG for all the power/ground wiring, and strip off the strands at the end so it will fit into the terminal. And the fuse in your in-line fuseholder should match the fuse rating on your amp.

I'd also look into a different amp...

    Yep, it's one-ohm stable.

Another way of making 8 gauge fit, would be use a distribution block, and go from 4 gauge to 8 using that. That would be a little more expensive, but if you plan on adding more than one amp to your system...this would be the way to go.

Ok ditch the Crunch amp and lets focus on JBL600.1 and Xtant600.1. i am leaning more towards the xtant because i heard the the jbl has a few minor issues like bad crossover or something. The extant would only cost a little bit more too and looks more clean to me.

xtant says it requires an external 80 amp fuse. what does that mean and where does it go if its external?
