Icon32 $175 for JBL 600.1 cheapest out there? Anything else compare for that price?

Ikesound has that amp for $175 now. I believe it was ~$210 until recently. Now they are charging shipping though, but I doubt it'll be $35

I haven't found any other quality amp with this kinda power for this kinda price. May not be top of the line, but looks like it'd be good for me. But if anyone knows of any other 600-800wrms amps around that price or maybe a lil higher, let me know.

Now I gotta hope Ikesound can get dual 2 ohm Type R's. They don't list them, but I won't get the 2 ohms needed for the 600.1 to make 600w with the dual 4 ohms they list :-/

I'm pretty sure Ikesound has the best price on the 600.1

And you can get the Dual 4's and wire them parallel/parallel, the JBL is 1-ohm stable.

It doesn't say it's 1 ohm stable Do watts double when ohmage is halfed? So that'd be 1200w? That'd fry the R's in a big box I'm sure

Haha, no. It will put out around 650/700 @ 1 ohm.

    Ah ok

I only wonder if the 1 ohm load would be too hard on it? Hey maybe I could add a couple of uneeded feet of say 8 guage wire to add a lil ohmage

1 ohm load will be fine for the 600.1

Now, I don't know if you want the extra power or what....but I may look into the lanzar vibe1200d, as it will give you more juice if you want it for about the same price....how ever, if you don't need the power you may not want to get it.

Anyways, laznar can be found at www.thezeb.com for 199
