    charging system affecting gain?

In my sig i have a jbl 1200.1, im trying to set my gains again (to push every little 1/1000th of a db out of it). I know my charging system is not up to par with my stock 130A alt. If im not getting a full 14.4 V while im setting my gains, would that affect my setting? Right now its a little under 1/4 of the way up to make sure i dont fry my K's, but im going to try and compete here shortly, and im trying to milk eveything I can out of my system, without dampening (5K college bill just came). Can a sub-par charging system affect my gains?

If your electrical system isn't up to par then your amp won't be pushing full power.

    yah

Yah if your electrical system is enough for your system, it will not produce at its best.
