Amp for my Alpine Type R 12" DVC

Well today I bought a Alpine TYPE R and am currently running it off a bazooka el1500 mono amp which is only 350wats rms. Its sounds alrite but i bet it could b louder. I have it in a 1ft cu sealed enclosure in a stf. cab truck inverted between the two buckets. I want a amp that will push this sub to its full potentional without blowing it. I was thinking maybe a US Acoustics amp or something, i cant spend over 300 so can anyone help? Thanks

the EL1500 is a bazooka amp which IMO is pretty ****** but hey i got it free from a friend so its alrite. Its rated at 600 MAX 350 RMS which it says on the box. Sooo yeah I just want a better amp, and the JBL 1200.1 i heard a lot of bad things about, i want a nice realible amp that will last a long time

Is it just me or did he say he only has 1 12" Type-R. A JBL 600.1 at 1 ohm isnt possible for a DVC 4ohm....and if you ment at 2 ohms, then I dont know about that. A type-R with 600 watts RMS. That is pushing it.
