US Acoustics amps and alternator whine.... is it true?

I am on a budget so i am very heavily considering US Acoustics amps. Now i have done a search on here and on caraudio.com and the only bad things i have read about anyone of these amps is that of alternator whine, or just a whine in general. Should i be afraid of this? Was it just an install mistake by the person? Will i have that problem if everything is installed by a professional? If i do encounter this same whine, what can i do if it is indeed from the alternator and is not from any wires?
Thanks for any help, i appreciate it!

alternator whine is caused more by RCA's or bad ground or other effects not typically by the amp. i never had that problem with my USX 2100 and i loved that amp but needed something more high end so i got rid of mine. i wouldn't think twice about getting one though if i was on a budget again.

2006 Bright Island Blue 6s: stock 6 disc in dash, Hertz Hi-Energy 6.5" comps, MB Quart Ref 12", eclipse 5-channel sub amp.

Car mods: Lowered on Mazdaspeed springs with Koni Yellow shocks, Racing beat front/rear sway bars with AWR end links, LED turn signals, tail lights, front side markers, 18" ADR Cypher rims, 55w HID's in low beam and fogs, 5% tint all the way around. No go fast mods yet...tuning and Mazda6 don't go well together .

no problem. i went through MANY dif. mid/high amps before i found that one. i mean i used RF 120.2, RF 600.4 bridged to 2 channels feeding my comps around 150 a piece they took it but the amp didn't, Blaupunkt 250.2 feeding them around 100 each and they took it, a pg tantrum didn't like it, then the USX and it seemed to do the best job IMO. so they are great amps to me but let's face it US acoustics versus zapco who wins??

I have indeed experienced alternator whine with my USX4065. This model is very sensitive to grounds. It also has significant crosstalk between channels. And it pops when turning on and off, which annoys me.

SQ is good though. Dunno if I'd buy another one.
