    profile

    the profile cl1200 is it worth the money or is something like the jbl 1200 worth the money.

    oh yea it is to push a 12" l7

    They are both worth the money. The JBL will out out about 1350-1500 watts rms when given the right amount of power and enough current with a load of 1or 2 ohms and about 750-800rms at 4 ohms. The Profile is 900watts rms at 4 ohms bridged. To run an L7 I would say get the JBL now so you can upgrade to another L7 if you want to and still have power to spare possibly. Allthough with only one sub unless the amp is runnin at 4 ohms, you will have to keep the gain down alot to keep from frying the sub.

    The JBL wont put out near 1500 RMS

    Actually a few, only a few have been benched at a lil over 1500, true I shouldnt have said 1500 but more like 1450 or a lil more than that. But yes they can do over 1500 not much but they can.

    The JBL will **** more current too. Ya might need to get an alt upgrade if ya gotta cheap stock alt.
